C.L. Barnhouse Company

427 documented arrangements

Founded in 1886 by Charles Lloyd Barnhouse, a self-taught cornet player and bandleader, beginning with his own march "The Battle of Shiloh." Relocated to Oskaloosa, Iowa around 1890, where it remains headquartered today. Published works by Russell Alexander, Fred Jewell, and Karl L. King alongside Barnhouse's own. Stayed family-run for over a century before bringing on its first non-family president in 2012 -- still independent today.
